What Mun is.
MUN stands for Model
United Nations. It is an educational simulation or academic competition in
which students role-play as delegates representing different countries or
organizations in various UN committees. MUN allows students to learn about
international relations, diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking.
During an MUN
conference, participants debate global issues, propose resolutions, and work
together to solve problems, all while trying to represent the interests and
policies of the countries or entities they are assigned to. It's a popular
activity in schools and universities, offering students a hands-on experience
in understanding global issues and the workings of international bodies like
the United Nations.
